In all honesty, just eat at a caloric deficit. Calculate maintenance calories and eat 500 less.
Best diet is keep one meal a day really light. Sometimes a smoothie for lunch or a salad! And workout of course. Otherwise you should be ok to eat a normal healthy dinner I think

Count your calories. It is the only way that works. It doesn't matter if it's 1 meal or 6 meals. No exercise or some crazy fad shit. You need to be at a deficit. You need to have consistency, no matter what your goals are.
No breakfast, big lunch, no dinner
Or you can... I'm a pretty short female, and my actual calorie needs are about 1100/day. If I have a large lunch (and I don't mean a large salad) and stay properly hydrated all day, I won't be hungry, and I won't feel compelled to snack on other food, and I lose weight. Maybe add a snack or something if you *need* more food, but it works
^or maybe do it right. Take care of your body. It needs to eat more than once a day
