It took forever, but I finally received a job offer related to my degree after graduating last May as an operations coordinator. The offer is $50k, but I really need to get that up to $55k. Since we never actually talked about pay during the interviews, would it be crazy to ask for $60K and hope we meet in the middle? I don't want to mess this up.

My current job I make 150k plus a 20% bonus and an annual cost of living raise anywhere from 2-3.5%. Have been in my current position about a year. Things have been a bit bumpy (not a me issue) I have a new supervisor and was recently given 7 direct reports (I had zero before). I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions?
