On a weekday, when can I slow down (respond in 30 mins instead of 5) or go to sleep? I’m sure it’ll depend on deal pace, but in general?

Whenever you feel like it. If it is not an urgent email, respond at an appropriate it time.

I disagree, if it’s a deal and it’s full on, you should check with the senior leading the deal about when it’s ok

I don’t know what practice you’re in but I’ve never seen the need/difference between 30 and 5 min response….

Finance SA. If it’s the weekend and you haven’t been asked to be on standby, frankly 2-3 hours is fine.

I wouldn’t necessarily be responding in 30 mins, let alone 5 mins, on the weekend unless it’s urgent and I was expecting it to come in. If you were at the gym or the cinema or something you wouldn’t even have your phone on you. But if I’m in the middle of a closing and i know the weekend is gonna be crazy, I’d just be at my desk all day like a normal day, with the exception perhaps of a longer lunch and/or dinner with my partner.

Hello fish, I’m wanting to move from London to Singapore at Manager level in operating model design. Anybody have any recommendations of companies (aside Big4) that are sponsoring visas at the moment, or good international recruitment agencies? Seems highly network driven from what I’ve seen.

Comp estimates for Chief of Staff at Series C startup with ~500M in funding. CoS per description is more executive level in design (versus admin assist) requiring 10 YOE.

What to expect in salary and equity comp?

Does anyone have advice on the hours typically worked at CFGI? I'm currently in a senior manager role with the expectation to be TMD in the next two years - however, given staffing issues and the politics of the firm, I'm looking for a switch.

In addition, as a non-audit accounting firm, do former big 4 employees working at CFGI pick back up their investments and are no longer restricted?

I look forward to any input CFGI employees may have. Thanks!
