Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but I’m not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) What’s the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

Of all the different investments out there ,why MM fund ?
What is your thesis regarding the S&P 500 underperforming MMs? What is your retirement timeline?
You’re exactly right. I am on good authority (vibes) that the market will fade 15% in exactly seventeen hours. You’re a wise one. Keep up the good work.
Wow. This is really fun to read through. 😝
When are you retiring?
Money Markets are safe, but the returns are getting eaten by inflation. If you’re looking to move away from the volatility of the S&P but still want growth, you should look into Arbitrage strategies. It’s basically market-neutral, so you aren't sweating the daily S&P swings, but the yield is significantly better than a standard MM fund. I’ve been diving into a course on it lately , happy to share if you’re curious.
No snake oil here ,just sharing a course I found useful. I agree on index funds for long-term holds, but the original poster was asking about moving into Money Markets.
Arbitrage is simply a more active, market-neutral alternative to sitting in cash. No fees when you're the one executing the trades yourself.
