Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but I’m not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) What’s the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

You buy in a market crash not sell
OP - this was a small pullback, like 1-2%. Not a crash. Stocks can even rally tomorrow and nobody will think twice about it.
If you are sitting on massive tech gains, I'd probably lock those in soon as the next month or 2 could get bumpy. All it takes is a few red days and people will flock to the exits.
Also you can hedge if you want
They already are
Please do sell! Lol
Fuck billable hours. Fuck referrals, bonuses, raises, etc.
Capitalizing on these market dips is how slightly above average joes like me have a real shot to build real wealth. Please please please sell off
They pulled back cause California is scaling back on lockdown. Market crash? Lol
Don’t pick trendy stocks. Pick solid, battle tested companies in diverse industries that have room to go up and get them at good prices. When you’re scared in a dip, it’s time to buy. When it drops more, buy more and lower your cost basis. Always buy low and sell high. Keep adding to core holdings in the dips. Dividends are your friend. It’s free money. Don’t but in big chunks. Nibble nibble. 1000 bucks at a time.

Won’t you want to lock down on the profits made so far though?

Not usually. Unless you need the cash for a better investment. Whateever has the most upside is what you should put money on.
What market crash? depends on which market you are trading in... Precious Metals are killing it. To the moon, the great rotation is happening. https://www.wsj.com/articles/gold-climbs-to-all-time-high-topping-2011-record-11595612234
