I've been a dedicated physical therapist at this clinic for over six years, but lately I feel like I'm stuck in a rut. I've mastered my current role, but there seems to be no room for upward mobility or even lateral movement. I'm not quite ready to leave the organization I've grown with, but I'm also not content to simply coast. Has anyone else successfully broken out of a career plateau within the same hospital or clinic setting? I'm open to any suggestions, from seeking out mentorship opportunities to proposing new programs or services.

It could be a tough position to find yourself in, an organization where you've planted your flag is difficult to leave. You've got so much invested in it, after all. But it's possible to get pigeonholed and find that there's just no real advancement ahead of you. If you think you've got skills that could let you move into another program in the same organization, explore that. Otherwise put out some feelers and see about finding opportunities elsewhere.

Hi all, looking for advice.

I'm a technical writer with background in the hardware and healthcare industry. What would be a better option for me, pivoting into software tech writing or project management.

Which one pays better/is better (any advice appreciated, must be fully remote role)

If software tech writing, does anyone have advice on how to break into a role or learn what it takes to become one?

I'm at a career juncture and have decided on a career in anti-money laundering as my new path. I'm also highly interested in additional education to further my career and am eyeing graduate school. Which is best? A law degree or a master's in international relations? Those are where my interests lie. I keep reading that JDs are valued in compliance but am wondering if a different graduate program is better for my goals. I already plan to obtain the CAMS certification. Thank you!
