Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group is too slow. For anything you wanna do inside the organization, 12 months of tenure is required. Even for promotions its the same no matter hoew exceptionally you perform.
Whereas Bain & Company has no such minimum tenure requirement. My colleague got promoted in 4th months of joining right out of college.
Give me 1 reason why I should accept the offer from BCG?
Looking for referrals for Facebook (Meta) if anyone can help me out! I applied for the Associate General Counsel (Commercial) role and I’m coming from a publicly traded company where I have been Regional Counsel. I have 10 years experience in-house, 5+ doing commercial agreements. I’m really interested in this position, so if you’re willing to refer me please send me a message and we can work something out! Thank you!@

I would examine why it is that you have to spend 50 hours at your job which I assume pays you regular salary based on a 40 hour work week. Sometimes there are responsibilities that we take on ourselves that nobody is really requiring us to do (though it can be difficult to step back from these extra duties once you take them on). Setting boundaries and learning how to keep your work week within the 40 hours would be my best advice
Absolutely agree with this. In my twenties and early 30s I worked all the time. All. The. Time. 2 am. 7 pm. What a waste of hours.
I work much less now, I focus on the outcomes and if I doing what is needed for that. I do not over volunteer to help, I stopped being the go to tech person. I am able to accomplish what’s expected in generally less than 40 hours each week. Time that I use for self improvement or relaxing, which increases my creativity and capacity for the hours I spend working.
One option is getting a house cleaner. It's cheaper than you think. Also have groceries delivered. Should give you 3 hours or more to study.
