Hey guys, Since I am working in Deloitte and right now, I am working from home. I want to go Nepal for 2 months and I want to work from there. Do I need to tell my manager or simply I can go there and start my work. Is there any obligation?
Note- I don't want to tell anyone. Since it may backfire sometimes

Recruiters aren’t looking for entry level planners.
LinkedIn has gotten me some luck. Definitely utilize your network and reach out to people within departments, not just HR people
The layout and clean design of a resume, even with minimal experience can really set you apart. Stand out in your opening email, make yourself memorable without trying too hard. Happy to look and help if you’re interested!
Brand Strategy is really hard to get into.
What does your resume and reach out email look like?
My emails are short, sweet, but professional. I only have internship experiences in the field.
Breaking into this biz is not easy, but as soon as you do it gets a bit easier. Anyways, be persistent but not annoyingly persistent. Recruiters are unorganized and flaky for the most part so know that it takes time. Maybe try and change your approach. Depending on the city you live in, remember there’s also a lot of competition for a finite amount of positions.
@OP honestly? Know someone who already works there. Or get your manager at the agency you’re interning at to put in a good word for you somewhere
@OP what SD2 said.
My own semi-accidental route into strategy was via related fields - analysis and research. They’re easier to get into. Nothing to stop you spending as much time as possible with strategists, and above all focusing on your own development on problem solving and strategic thinking.
But once it came to making the jump, I needed a personal contact to put me in touch with the right people. Outside of that, came up against understandable resistance to hiring someone without “strategy” in their past titles
What would be your advice on trying to get into a strategy department without experience?
@ project manager 1. I’d love your help and appreciate it. What’s the best way I can reach you?
