It happens. If the start date moves again id jump onto something else. If it's solid just hang in ther and network while you have the time.

If it moves again, you can ask to be considered for more immediate work.
@EY1 is that what everyone does for unplanned extended periods on the bench? I rather save my pto for actual vacation but at this point I guess it makes sense
I wouldn't unless you already had plans or wanted to take PTO while you have the time. Your actual utilization will still be the same even though they should technically look at your adjusted utilization factoring in PTO and Training.
