I’ve been struggling to pass any of the CPA exams. Ideally would have liked to pass before all the 2024 changes but that didn’t happen for me. I hear FAR and REG are dropping topics which is good I guess but BEC (or discipline) is going to be harder and the score release is only once a quarter. Been feeling really discouraged and overwhelmed. If there are any positives about the changes/new exams in 2024 that might help to keep me going and not give up, I’d really appreciate it. Please share! 🙏🏻

I bought my materials in 2022 and life happened and still haven’t taken any parts. The thing that keeps me positive is that the CPA exam will always be there when I’m ready.

I was able to pass two sections this year but I heard the disciplines are actually getting easier. AUD will get harder from what I’ve seen but nothing too crazy. Good luck!

They are also getting rid of harder testlet 2 if you did well

If you did well on the 1st testlet of mcq, the 2nd one gets harder. Now they no longer do that

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I’m extra worried because it doesn’t seem there’s IB analyst positions out there. Im really hoping come January more positions come up but I’m just praying they don’t fire me until then. Anyone have general tips for this situation?

Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? I know that title is not a big thing but why I feel like my title is downgraded here… Good thing is my jobs here at my current team are what I really wanted to do. This is amazing. I love my new team and people here! Super healthy working environment! But just curious about the title.

I am overweight and this city is full of active, and attractive people. I guess I am wondering what my experience would be if I got out more? I feel like people look at me when I'm in public because I stand out due to my size.
