I was offered a Part Time Physician Case Manager Position (Remote) in Malaysia on 4th November 2022. I was interviewed by your Medical Director (Dr. Christine Louis) via Microsoft teams platform. The whole onboarding process was handled by a senior HR admin from Shanghai.
Subsequently, I was required to sign a contract and provide financial details and ID for onboarding purposes. I have then given Microsoft office sign-in credentials.
Would like to verify the facts and personnel above. TQ!

I also work in group insurance (specifically disability/Absence) and I’ve worked at 3 major carriers (think basically the 3 big ones you can think of) and one smaller one (about 1.5k employees) and that was the best place I worked for ever. Smaller companies there is more room to grow as it’s not competing against 500 other people, things aren’t so hard to change, it feels like a family environment still, benefits are typically better in a lot of regards
It really depends. I’ve been with major companies and made a pit stop in a smaller one and I just couldn’t get on board. They don’t have all the other processes and support that a larger company has. You shoulder a lot more work.
This is really a concern to me. Work life balance is very important to me, and I feel like expectations may be to be available more and working more hours. I’ve asked several questions in interviews and team member and manager both said WLB is important and valued at the company. I think I’m the end all I can do is take their word for it.
Work with a smaller company and decided to move to a bigger one. I’m now looking at rejoining the smaller one. While the bigger company did have more bells and whistles, with the number of claims employees no one is on the same page and it got to frustrating for me.
My initial thought is that working for a smaller company you would have more opportunities to build relationships with upper management , be recognized potentially easier, and not feel as a “number”, working for a bigger company you may have a bigger salary potential, better benefits, but could feel more like just “number”. There are certainly pros and cons to each, I personally looked for a happy medium based on what I valued more.
