I wake up early and I do pushups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, and 25 minutes on my rowing machine 4-5 days a week, and I play basketball with a group of friends on most Saturday mornings during the school year. In the summer, I try to ride my bike as often as possible.
It’s so worth it! Not only do I feel great, but I don’t worry if I ate too much ice cream last night- I’ll work it off today.
It's completely worth it. I feel so much better on the days I force myself to work out. I'm probably averaging 4 days a week right now and really want to get that up to 5 soon!
Working out helps a great deal with mood and ability in my opinion. I never feel quite right if I take a long period off. I try to make sure I lift 5 times a week and do cardio at least 3 times a week either running, swimming, or playing soccer.
After a full day of teaching, sometimes the last thing I want to do is change into workout clothes and move even more. But I try to fit in 2-3 workouts a week, even if that just means a quick yoga session or a walk around the neighborhood.
Pool swim is great after a long day it refreshes you, just get in the water and start with basic therapy exercises
Wake up at 0400, Run 3 Miles, Lift/Crossfit/Hybrid Training for 40 min. I do this 5 days a week, do some very light work on Saturday, take Sunday off. Best way to avoid the tiredness of working out after school and avoid the crowds at the gym.
I bite the bullet and get up early in the AM and get it done.
