Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Probs FP&A if you studied finance. Target a senior FP&A analyst role and target 90k to 130k depending on the market you're in.
What type of role would you prefer? I’m in risk advisory/internal audit and we rarely have busy seasons. For a senior role, comp is between roughly 100k - 120K
Same. I would like to follow
FP&A, Valuations, Management consulting, transaction advisory. All pay higher than audit. As a staff I’m not sure, but once you are a senior should be 110-135 for HCOL.
Advisory doesn’t really require a CPA, and comp is probably on the higher end as well. If your interested in learning more about it, DM me
