I’ve decided I need to look for a new firm. The only issue is the firm’s president micro-manages like crazy and I don’t know how I’m going to be able to interview during the day. For context, it’s a small wealth management firm with only 5 people. I am in all client meetings for the firm, and I am in the office every day. Any advice is appreciated.

It feels premature to cut the chord on the others, but also the decision between the companies becomes harder. Transactional associate. Lateraled 6 months ago and one of the biggest pain points has been my new firm’s inclination to “hop on a call”, which of course requires every single stakeholder to join. The end result being every call has 25 people on it and nothing actually gets done because no one wants to ask a question that could come off as silly.
