I’ve noticed a lot of consulting opportunities for companies like Visa and Microsoft. What’s the major difference between the work you do for product firms vs at a Big 4 Deloitte EY PwC ? Is there a difference in pay, WLB? Are there opps for generalists that don’t want to do program management, e.g. internal strategy or process design & improvement

I’m negotiating my salary, and I’m curious what a reporter/digital editorial lead makes at your company? I have 15+ years of experience in employee communications and TV news, and I live in the Seattle area. I think I’m being shortchanged bc I’m asked to do some of my previous manager’s responsibilities (he was promoted), but I’m paid as a reporter. Hello, Need an advice on my offer from Deloitte. I am on OPT and looking for H1B sponsorship this year, recruiter said they will do it but I am wondering if I join after 2 weeks will they be able to do it as there won’t be much time left. My current company will file H1 for me. I got an offer for a consultant role at D with 25$k extra than my current salary and 10$k sign in bonus but I am currently working as a Sr Con. Is it advisable to take a risk in my case considering H1 as a priority?
