NYC - base salary range for Director Level paid media position at a big fashion retailer? I just got an offer and it feels really low to me, the internal HR woman presenting the offer even said she used what I was looking for last year (interviewed for the same position, didn’t get it but the guy who did is already leaving and they reached back out to me) but in the last year I got promoted at my current role. The offer is still $15K base more, but doesn’t feel like enough to make the move.

My company is going to shift me from a base + comm to a base only. My boss explained it as the base will be much higher. I manage a BDR team and am currently making 65k base + uncapped comm from AE deals and when the team hits quarterly numbers. About a year and a half ago I was getting ready to leave for a senior bdr position that was going to pay 100k a year and my current company counter offered me and I stayed. I like my job but am I getting a short end of the stick by going to base only?
