I’ve started interviewing again, and I forgot how many hoops they make you jump through. Recorded video responses, unpaid take-home assignments, four rounds of interviews and all for a mid-level role. One company even wanted me to present a full strategic plan before speaking to a hiring manager. I get that they want to assess fit, but it’s starting to feel exploitative. At what point do you just say, “thanks but no thanks,” and walk away?

I’m a financial advisor with jpmorgan and i verbally accepted a new job in private banking with another firm. This is my first time transferring licenses. Should i wait to give my two weeks notice until my new firms hr department clears me and gives me a start date or as soon as i sign the offer letter?

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
It's now been 3 weeks since the interview and I still haven't heard back from the team other than the odd HR email saying they are following up with them. Is there something going on internally, I.e hiring freeze in the London office atm?
