Just got a BCG associate offer. Will be going to the office for a “Welcome Weekend” next week. Any advice? I want to accept the offer before I go because then I can be purposeful with my conversations. Thoughts? I’d love to network with project leaders so they’re aware of me in a year (after grad) and I can pop back up and reconnect and maybe get some influence on the first project I’m placed on. Any general advice is also welcome for the next year (credit cards, skills, etc..) to get ready.

I have a real estate client who at the top of his organization chart owns is 50/50 partners in a real estate investment company. First question is it advantageous to have the top of the organization 50/50 partners own the r/e company as an s-corp? That 50/50 company then owns 70% of holding company they own all the real estate as a partnership that the original partners are 35/35 and the investors own the remainder. All the real estate deals are then owned by this holding company.

Right so here’s a bit of a dilemma I work to a much higher standard at home and it’s this high standard that means I’m in line for a promotion. I’ve grown so much and I feel really strong in my role I’m also busier than ever. The problem is we’re going back into the office and I don’t want to go in if it’s just going to be senior management in asking me to get them lunches for client meetings or fetch a glass of water and cutlery for meeting rooms.
