Wow. Accenture is de-risking itself by shifting the risk to the individual. Why didn’t I think of that.
Honestly a bad sign, that means they don’t have confidence something will open up anytime soon. Onboarding and training all takes time. My guess is they’re waiting for a contract win to happen and then they’ll reach out
Happened to me too, been almost 10 months. Don't hold your breath.
That's everywhere. Pyramid is the only way to survive in consulting, technically any sector
Silver lining is that there are a few large projects about ready for massive staffing
Dang. My offer was at least contingent on contract award
My recruiter said a capability hire. I joined firms before where I come in on the bench. She said I won’t come in on the bench, but will we reached out to by a team(s) and then they’ll figure out a start date.

There are a number of large programs that are close to a reup or close. This is common when working with the government. If you want, feel free to DM me and I’ll see if I can help.
Lmao so Accenture is building a bench without having to pay for it? insane lol
Basically. Lol
I told the recruiter that I have worked for firms where I come in on the bench and you have to wait for a little bit to get staff. Then I said or are you saying that I will be on like standby and once staffed then I would get a start date and official offer. She said the latter.
