Lockdown makes it hard to date
Is there any demand for this skill? 1. Secondary Research/ Literature Review - Ability to find & collect science facts & data from internet, analyze it and bring insights from it. And present in it very simple & consized manner. Note: Please don't call blindly this as data scientist skill. I am not only taking about quantitative data. I also talking about ability to infer facts & qualitative data.

What are you deploying
I guess their two products.
Allegedly, Palantir is one of the products that ICE uses to round up undocumented immigrants, amongst other Big Brother things
I mean we’re data scientists. All the jobs I’ve had are very big brother type. I sometimes regret coming into this field. It’s cool but invasive. But it pays 🥺
Meh. I got offered something similar when I first started. I would look up exit opportunities after a deployment strategist— I think that’s what let me know that it wasn’t for me. I couldn’t find opportunities or examples after what a deployment strategist for 2 years would be doing for example
Lol sounds like a recursive problem, your exit op's exit op doesn't have good exit ops. When does one stop exiting?
As a former Intel Officer, I thought it was a great tool in the war on terror. I wanted to interview for deployment strategist role too, but heard Palantir “prides themselves on underpaying relative to the market.” Did they offer you a competitive salary range in your initial convos with HR?
🥴 sounds like a bad opportunity OP
