Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

It’s the highest level before Managing Director (Level 5 in Accenture speak). As to what the role entails - you should probably have checked during the interview process ;)
Congratulations and welcome.
Check to make sure its not a landing level. Accenture has alot of Sr mgrs lined up for md, it seems they may have added this new level as a landing spot for those who will not make md. I have been away for awhile so not sure. Many of my former colleagues leveled out at sr mgr and have left. The comp point is valid though, they pay at market on base and bonuses are based on individual and company performance. Stock price continues to rocket higher.
Not necessarily a landing level. My role is because I don’t want to be an MD but continually have more responsibility added to my plate. There is a stigma that the equivalent Level 5 in consulting (Associate Director) is a consolation prize for not making MD. Principal Director in my case is tied to a different career path and deep specialization
What level are you now at KPMG
Same as Director at KPMG, but may be better offer financially as our bonuses are peanuts year after year
Yeah as PD1 said, they are using it a lot in I&TL where there are people who are deeply specialized. It doesn’t prevent you from becoming an MD, it is just a different track
Do we still have “Executive Principal” as a L4 title?
Yes, still there
.. and that’s the natural progression from a Principle Director?
Yes, but I have seen people go to Managing Director as well (of course, still L4)
