I just graduated and I have made it pass the third interview which was a two part working interview that I will receive compensation for. I have BS degree in healthcare professions and wanted to know if 40k is too low of salary to start off as a compliance officer for a pharmacy that provides discounted medications. I’ve been working as a contract TAS for 6 months in a medical device company. I started part time and as it became busier/my trainer quit, I became full-time. I applied for the TA position through corporate and would like some insight. the company is short staffed and my site specifically does not have good TA retention. For the salary expectation, I put in 85k which is in the range. I’m currently at 64k which is below the minimum of the range. Is this realistic?

Hi all - Soliciting feedback on comp for a new role.
Last role was an engineering manager at 185k, 10% bonus, RSUs, paid healthcare.
The first offer was a bit underwhelming. I'm trying to think of creative ways to respond with a counter offer. Offer is 150k base with 10k bonus, no equity or stock, and insurance premiums are a bit expensive. Base and bonus are what I have to work with. Initial thoughts were to give a hard "no" and continue interviewing.

Has any companies given their employees good raises to help with the rising costs of everything? I was a top performer and only got around 3% this last year.

Currently I make a base of $63k/yr and $1k/mo in bonuses pre-tax. I manage a performance for a team of licensed insurance agents (service-based role in a direct business environment), maintain our business relationships, and support adhoc training needs.
