Just wanted to share a story here. I’ve been wanting to work for BCG since I was a junior in college. I never managed to even get an interview in undergrad. A year ago, I finally got an interview and I thought it was God opening a door for me. I practiced all day long for several weeks; I meditated and tried as hard as I possibly could. I got rejected and felt devastated. A year later, I interviewed again, but this time I just prayed “thy will be done” before the interview. Today, I got my offer

A company offered a role, but then went back to the legal team to see if they can do H1 transfer. The job is not aligned with my degree but my past 9 years of work ex has been. How do I try to convince them?

Anyone a manager? I’m recently diagnosed (26F) and I can’t help but beat myself up everytime I fall short of my to do list. Makes me feel like a huge disservice to my team. I’ve been trying vitamin D and working out, but it makes my “highs” and “low” SO extreme. The simplest things are so complex in my mind.

If anyone feels similar, how do you manage these feelings? I’m personally considering switching to an individual contributor role, but can’t help but feel like a disappointment if I do.

Anyone here suffer from depression? How do you cope with it? I recently went through a break up, and a few other personal/family issues. Hard to see what gods plan for my life is. I know god isn’t a magic genie who makes all your problems go away. Just finding it hard to reconcile that with “He knows all the desires of your ♥️ . Im seeing a Christian Counselor for the 1st time, and I spend about 2 hours every night praying & just being in gods presence. Any other tips?
