When I worked at a charter school, the administrators also taught at least 1 course in addition to administrative duties. It really made them aware of what teachers were facing in the classroom. I don't think this is common. Do you think it's a good idea?

After 18 years, I lost my art room to a classroom this year in order to spread out kids due to Covit19. They said we can’t hand out papers.. kinda thinking art is remote for all. I will do lessons on google classroom with live lesson to classrooms and home. I was told special area teachers may be “repurposed”. We will be used like a TA. Does anyone know where I can find basic ESL worksheets for newcomers that aren’t British? I just got a few new students whose English is about zero. Thankfully I speak their language (I am the only one in the school who does) but I wanted to start them on basic vocabulary (colors, foods, school supplies etc) and basic grammar. But a lot of the worksheets I find are designed for people learning British English and I don’t want to confuse my students because the vocabulary is different.

I'm actually a Registered Nurse; I've emailed support to find out how to change myself from a physician to RN. Are there any nurses on here who were able to get their foot in the door doing CDI without having CDI experience? I've been a nurse; overall, for 16 years. My clinical background is in Med-Surg, Telemetry, Step-Down, Infectious Disease with the last 10 years being away from bedside in Pharmacovigilance. Is it possible to land a CDI position without experience? So far I've had zero luck

I have a rare (< 20 cases) skin condition near my vulvar area that causes mini bumps that resemble warts almost. Do cover letters matter? If I am submitting a resume via LinkedIn (vs. an internal referral), should I also write a cover letter? As a hiring manager, I have never seen a cover letter reach my desk via an internal recruiter, but not sure if recruiters use them at an earlier phase in the hiring process.

Hi! I’ve been in the ESG space for nearly 7 years and submitted an app for an ESG Consulting role at PwC. My app was unfortunately rejected. Now, my app is ‘under review’ in the system. Between the time of the rejection and reversal, I’ve made connections with people in the department and the role has been reopened/reposted. Should I reapply using a referral and revamped resume or just try my luck with the application that’s now ‘under review?’ I want to be sure my chances are better this time.
