Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.
What’s the WLB like? Good job security?

They used to do and stopped recently. Actually in consulting its better not to join for h1b. Lotsa issues especially with LCA and amendments for every client. It takes time and many project teams want folks immediately. This may affect utilization and hence your milestones. Trust me, not a good time to switch to consulting. For those who are already there, their network is the savior.
For some practices we still hire H1B. I am on H1 and our immigration team/leadership is fully supportive!

Like D1 said, it’s not ‘right’..they are just risk averse. Mck faces exact issue and they hire significantly low number of H1s. Their risk is low. It’s business. Blame the administration,they make the law
KPMG 1 they might have started it recently. You never know. @EY1 - McK doesn’t say it doesn’t want to hire H1B on job posts but kpmg does. And personally I think business should not be an excuse to compromise ethics, value and empathy.
