Ladies I am struggling with one of my team members and I need feedback. I am leading an ERP implementation and honestly the Accenture team is great but this client is kind of annoying, but I guess they all are.. Anyway I really love working with one the leads on the team because he's good at what he does and once the client knows him they love him. However, his professional mannerisms are starting to be a problem. Our practice hired a new PM and when she asked about his availability

for her project as he was coming up as available he was very rude and brushed her off. The new PM escalated this and senior leadership brushed it off as him being quirky. Then on the leads on another stream wrote him an email thanking him for all his work and his positivity and he wrote back with MDs on the email "there is nothing positive about me, reference a text I sent you saying this was all going to fail." I don't know what to do anymore, I want to help him but at this point I feel like leadership is enabling this kind of behavior. I don't know how to answer for him if he does something like this with a client

Do nothing. Based on what you’ve shared, this will come to a conclusion all on its own pretty soon.

How did you give notice you were lateraling to people you like? Particularly if you haven't been there that long?

I'm lateraling to another firm because frankly I think the management of this one is terrible, but the people (and individual partners) I actually work with are awesome. I've only been here for about 18 months, so I imagine that short time frame will make it extra awkward 😬

I’m new to the firm. My third project my manager was very hands off. He’s wants to have a discussion with me about my performance. He did not give me any support to work with; even when I asked! And my direct manager agrees with him, but it was my third week. What to do? I feel like I’m going to say something crazy. Any advice?

I’m a new analyst at a PE firm, and my associate keeps blaming me for things she does wrong. Like she will tell me I made the wrong change, even though she is the one who changed it. Or in calls with other people, she won’t take responsibility for things that she told me to do that the other person calls out as wrong. How can I handle this situation without making her mad but also not letting her step all over me?

Any Hr people out there..my wife is going through a harassment case against her boss. He is retaliating against her and other staff. On going for years. Most recently she had to take a leave of absence. There is a formal investigation into him. What is the timeline this should take ? And should he be allowed to have 1on1 talks with other staff members?. He is in damage control now trying to buy everyone lunch and doing his own PR tour. Month into investig doesn't seem like much has happend yet.

I find myself questioning basic politeness I’ve learned since a child. Wondering what everyone else thinks. I work with an associate. She’s great. When she does good work or something I’ve asked her to do, I, of course, say “thank you!” I don’t really expect a response. She always replies “you’re welcome!” Or some variation. And for some reason, that’s awkward. Is it just me? I know in normal manners, that is the right response. Why does it sit funny?
