My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

I have a VC/GE interview coming up (phone screen) and personally don’t know much about the space , it’s just an area that has always seemed interesting.

Does anyone have Recommendations on how to get up to speed/good questions to ask during the phone screen?

I would assume the first call will be pretty standard to any other company, but just want to be prepared.

Looking for mental health related advice - when I first started this job a few years back my sibling passed away unexpectedly. The firm was understanding at the time gave me paid time off told me to take as much time as I needed and for that I am really grateful. Recently an extended family member passed away who I was very close with and became even closer with after my sibling passed. And I just can’t get myself to do work. I told a couple of the partners I worked with (Cont in comments)

Transactional junior here. I want to remain having a semblance of a life outside work and partake in happy hours but always feel like it’s hard to do.
