“Let’s table it for now”. To me, a table is a central meeting location where everyone gets together. Imagine sitting together for a meeting and someone puts something on the table. Intuitively, shouldn’t it mean to talk about what was just placed in front of you? It makes literally no sense why the “tabling it” would mean to talk about it later. Something more intuitive would be to “shelf it” for now. Just my 2 cents
I’m sorry but British English has it right -
table (v.) in parliamentary sense, 1718, originally "to lay on the (speaker's) table for discussion," from table (n.). But in U.S. political jargon it has the sense of "to postpone indefinitely" (1866). Related: Tabled; tabling
“Thanks in advance”
I used to write that all the time when I was still green. Now it pisses me off 🤣

“High level” I hate that. And people use it differently. Also “a lot of moving parts” means you don’t understand something.
“Another amazing job”
“Couldn’t have done it without you”
“You’re Deloitte’s number 1 asset. Please never leave us”
