Let go a year ago after 14 years at the same company. 25 year experience in all. At first I had plenty of good first interviews and second interviews. Been a good match for many postings. Nothing has panned out. Now I see 400-600 applications per posting after the first day. Now I am not even getting interviews.

Is there something going on that I don't know about?

I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.

Do you all think I will be rejected?

I did one interview yesterday with flipkart but still they didn't invited me for second interview.
What shall I assume about my result ?
Meanwhile I got interview call from CSS Corp , shall I start attending other interviews?

Why are there so many job postings that I have applied for but nothing happening? Are the jobs that are posted truly open? I know we are in 4th quarter and wasn’t sure if corporation’s like to hire then?

Does anyone know how to go about providing a writing sample to a potential new employer while going through the application process, without letting on to my current team that I am applying for a new job? I understand I would need permission to use a redacted memorandum or document I’ve written during my time a PwC, but to ask for permission to use one of my writings as a sample would basically admit that I’m applying to another job. What is the appropriate thing to do in this situation ?

Interviewed for a sr. PM last Thursday. Was scheduled for 30min but we went to an hour and had a really good conversation. The questions I got asked I was told the answers were perfect by the hiring manager. I felt really good coming out of it but then followed up with an email thanking them for the time the next day and I never received a response or next steps. Am I thinking too much into it or is it not a good sign?

How long does it take for PwC to send out rejection email? I interviewed with the team like a month ago, the recruiter called me the next day and told me that congrats, everyone likes me and told that they were working on my official offer. 3 weeks later, nothing. I followed up 3 times already and got the answer that I should expect to hear by the end of the week. My last follow up email, no response lol. Should I just move on now?

I’ve been lay off this afternoon because low performance, it just two weeks ago I talked to my manager and told her that she’s micromanaging me a lot and I need more autonomy at my work. Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. It’s like they don’t know what to say or I make them feel awkward so they don’t bother…I’m trying to focus on a few that have been supportive but it’s hard…Any words of advice? 😞
