Anyone working for splunk? As BDR ?
Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

Moved to Denver and I love it!
Boulder is much prettier and greener than Denver. It is on the foothills of the mountains, so you are only 10-15 min away from beautiful hikes. However, Boulder is a bougie college town with rich residents. Avg 1-bedroom goes for about $2,800/mo, compared to $1,800/mo in Denver. Boulder is a small sleepy town compared to Denver, which Denver in turn is a far sleepier town with mediocre bar scene compared to Chicago. Boulder is a lot like Evanston. Both Evanston and Boulder’s residents are either college students or older families with high net worth. Neither towns are indusive to young professionals in their late 20’s or 30’s.
Not sure why you are hiding inside July and August. It’s not that hot. We have an accessible lakefront and plenty of pools.
It’s over 90 everywhere in US in July and August. Illinois is super mild unless you go live in Canada.
Florida - paradise
Except for April through September (give or take a month)?
san diego if you can’t handle the extremes but tbh it’s not bad here. maybe because I grew up here though and am used to the grind.

I was just in San Diego last weekend visiting a friend. Yes, enjoyed the mild weather and even slept outside on my friend’s porch!
I love the height of summer in the Midwest because morning and night are perfect. Lower temps, no sun beating down, and you still get that fragrant summer vibe with all of the plants in bloom. Maybe this reframing could be helpful!

True! I walk my dog at 5:30 am seven days a week and it’s perfect outside.

July to August is the best / is that a typo?
@Creative I've been hibernating during the extreme days of summer. This past Monday was perfect though. Now we're getting another heat wave on Friday. Ugh. Why can't we get 5 days of 70s instead of 5 days of extreme heat!!
I've always heard La Jolla as the ideal temperature range. Our friends there apologized that there was a single cloud in the sky when we went. They have trust fund money though, so I'm not sure I can unreservedly recommend it cause you pay for the lazy thermometer.
