Bain & Company Hello Fishes.
What is the average CTC offered for a Research Associate with 1 year of experience in Healthcare consulting?
I'm looking forward for opportunities, hence would be great to know the current CTC trends to effectively negotiate with the employer.
Thanks in advance!

What are you looking for here?
Stop. Learn to write.
Go do what?
Nah I think they're just telling lawyers to GTFO
Pro
More than most white collar jobs in Toronto, much less than what most people think Corporate Lawyer makes because of Suits, laughably less than our NY counter parts.
50%+ of my meals are billed to client.
Lol wut?
You make a lot of money on that salary. Should be easy
Well 690k, 401 tax returns , oh yea I’m living the life
Don't lawyers have a lockstep system? Information is fairly widely available isn't it?
Yes ZSA
You’ll have lots of money and no time to spend it.
Pro
Not that much money for the work tbh.
Go where? You’ll be in the office 24/7 if that’s what you’re asking
How much money are we talking about? 🤨 i am not in law so just curious.
Google Zsa law salary.
At big firms, its 130k as a first year associate, ~25k raises per year after that up to partnership around year 6, potential bonuses from 5-30% depending on firm. Partnership income is more of a black box and depends on a lot of factors (practice area, clients, hours) Associate pay enough to feel comfortable but not wealthy. I curse myself every day for not jumping to the US (nearly triple salary for all in compensation) when I may have been able to and now the market is down for the foreseeable future.
Hours suck but not as bad as others make it seem. Mind, I don't have kids and my firm is fairly reasonable.
Rising Star
I see no reason why you still can’t jump ship if you’re in a good enough firm in a relevant practice area. The way I see it is the last couple years were so easy that even associates in less reputable firms were able to jump ship.
Barring another Great Recession, there’ll always be demand for work, and associate attrition is still very high.
It's really not a lot of money but bonuses are nicer than working in tech. IB and tech sales salaries are wayyyy better.
