Lol sometimes I love this industry. Just saw on LinkedIn that a former colleague of mine moved to KPMG as an M&A advisor at the Manager level. In his entire 20 year career, this guy probably has 20 minutes of actual M&A advising experience, and those 20 minutes were a disaster. I know, because I managed him on project and had to remove him after a couple of weeks. Good luck!

@author, the best that happened to him was disassociating with a manager like you. You should be on your way and being agitated with what he has done with his career. Might be he got good after he was released from you. Do you think you are the best judge of a persons potential ?

You are very toxic. I can't wait to replace your job with couple of AI Agents..

Great job! You finally got the instant gratification you're missing in real life. When I replace myself with few AI agents, I will be achieving one of my life goals, but I'm prioritizing the toxic personas first lol

Won't be the first time, and certainly not the last time a hiring manager makes a mistake.

We're staffed too thin to carry dead weight. He'll get to ride the bench for a while before being shown the door.

Lol yeah buddy. A “technology M&A advisory” could not understand a simple IT DD, but yeah it’s me.

Idk, the firm? Him? Either way, someone is in for a surprise.

Gonna be a short stint over there!

Spill the beans, which team in KPMG? Can’t imagine it’s my team lol

What exactly are you accomplishing by bashing someone you worked with? Why not go all the way and add their name here? Complete the circle.

You spelled “self” wrong; that’s all that needs to be said.

What is a simple way to explain to my boyfriend that investing in equity with an expected return of 10% is better than paying off debt that is growing at a rate of 6%. He has student loans and is adamant that he wants to pay all of them off immediately before saving any retirement money. I understand that many individuals use this strategy but I think investing in index funds for the long haul is better from a wealth accumulation perspective, without even factoring in tax implications of 401k
