Hi everyone Google ,
I am facing interview trouble.
1. First round of interview has done
2. 2nd was scheduled on 1 july but interviewer did not join. After a few mails to hr and recruitment team one hr replied that they will reschedule it, and asked me for possible dates.
Since then i am waiting for the interview schedule as all of my given dates have been passed. I don't know how to deal with it as I don't want to miss the opportunity.

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

What are the key things you are trying to solve for? If you can give those “weights” for you personally that might help decide how much you value the different things each offers. Also congrats on being in a great position and being able to choose!
I’ve never had a hybrid job before - only thing slightly putting me off is the travel however there is room to negotiate pay and stuff - daftly enough been contacted about managing that job also. I’m looking at both roles the onsite one initially seems better if I was looking at the time away and money I get however the hybrid one if I was to work the same hours I would be on a lot more money - feel as though the senior project engineer is a great step and I think that’s the move I need. Does anyone have advice on how I would properly open discussions on salary after I get the offer.
