Looking at an MBA at London Business School (LBS). Looking for a career switch from strat consulting to more finance and investing. What are your experiences at LBS and if you felt LBS MBA was worth it?

I frustrated working in my current organization, It is a product company but manager, consultant and BA are acting like service company, I want to switch I am not expecting too much hike from next company, what answer should I give to next company when they asks me reason to switch?

Started my LLM this fall and used to be a senior manager for Tax Structuring in M&A.
I’ve been applying to entry level LLMs positions for international tax with no success.
I’m in a loss if I’m doing something wrong or maybe my profile doesn’t match what big4 in US expects from an ITS associate…
I’m a foreign trained lawyer and accountant, I’m eligible to take both the bar and the CPA (and have them both in my country).
Should I give up going back to ITS and try a different area, maybe?

I’m an Environmental Protection Specialist and make pretty good money for what I do. I just feel like I have more to offer than being a worker bee in a system at 25. Are there certain firms that are more accepting of Tax backgrounds entering advisory positions? I’m a CPA with a couple years regional tax experience looking to transition to advisory/deals, but have struggled getting big 4 advisory interviews even with solid recommendations.
I’ve heard there’s solid opportunities in advisory type work for some other large firms outside big 4. Has anybody made a similar transition?

currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover
