Looking for a gut check for comp package (salary/bonus/commission/PTO) for paralegals and 1-3 year associates. Family law only. Small firm. Portland, OR. Inflation and labor market seem to be shifting comp expectations independent of hours, work product, or experience.

Can't talk left coast, but outer exurbs of DC area, same practice area... Associate right out of school - $65-75K, small salary bump when sworn in to practice (usually 5-10%). Bonus is variable based on how long they start work before December 31, but usually 5% of salary between date of hire and December 15.
2nd year associate - 10% raise, and begin bonus if they generate revenue more than 2.5 times their salary.
3rd year associate, percentage of actual revenue realized on a monthly basis. 4th year - NEP offer if their revenue generated warrants it, 5th year - either gone, same as 4th year, or EP offer with buy in sufficient to pay for all the sign, letterhead and other name change related expenses, plus a specific $$ amount to current equity partners (5-figures total still). 50% of H/I covered, all CLEs covered, Malpractice covered, and partial matching on 401k.
Paralegals - DOE, for limited experience hire... $40K, plus half health insurance cost, partial matching on 401k.
But, my region is almost saturated with attorneys, and low level staff so...

I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. This isn’t something my company typically offers and would greatly change the scope of my role. Has anyone ever taken on a role like this? If so, were you able to negotiate a percentage of the consulting fee? Or was it a bump in salary during the project?

My career goal is to move to US, that's where all my friends are.
