Female corporate banker here, approaching year 3 as an analyst. Very top heavy team, but bank won’t promote juniors. Pay raises and larger bonuses keep coming, although I do think it is time to leave the firm. Loving the aspect of relationship management in Corporate Banking, but also thinking about heading into Investment Management. Any advice (either long term in Corp. Banking or on making the switch)?

I'm still perplexed at the reason why there's been so much anti-Asian violence (outside of lack of data from prior years' underreporting), and cannot fathom a reason outside of the pandemic. I think people are really losing their minds, and are "acting out" against whomever they think is tangentially responsible for something perceived to be taken from them. I also think there are some long-standing issues between Asian and Black communities and are acting out against this community. Thoughts?

Have 2 offers:
1. As Business Analyst (non-technical profile but domain specific) in product based company.
2. As Data Analyst (technical which includes tableau, SQL, python) in considerably smaller company to above.
CTC is nearly same (Comp2 on a higher side)

Which one to choose as I'm not sure whether I should continue with non-technical BA (which has been my profile so far), or should explore technical (DA)?
