Looking for insights on salary progression in tax roles within public accounting! Could you share details for large firms (e.g., Big 4) vs. small/mid-size firms, including base salaries, bonuses, and COL? Specifics on roles like Associate, Senior, Supervisor, Manager, etc., would be great. Thanks for your input!

I recently cleared all rounds of interview for Mindtree and waiting for the offer letter. However, since Mindtree has been recently acquired by LTI, is there any layoff expected to happen in Mindtree?
Kindly pls give me an idea about how the situation is now in both companies.

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Am I mistaken by this viewpoint?
