I got an offer from teksystems India for hpe client. My question is what will happen if someday HPE don't want us to work for them anymore or maybe project development ends...so will teksystems move us to different client within 2 month (as they say) or will they fire us?

Secondly how is tbe appraisal cycle at teksystems India? How are the benefits?

What are salaries like for class of 2019 in am law 50-100. I have average working attorney collections as high as our senior associates but I’m only making 215k. Trying to see what salary I should ask for.

I work in insurance. I was working for an Allstate agent and was fired the day after my grandmothers funeral for being “unenthusiastic in our morning meeting”. Do you all see a compelling future in your tax career? I’ll go first, I don’t see a compelling future working for a large PA firm in the long run because you have to work more as you move up. However, I do see a compelling future by using my knowledge and skills to open my own firm/business and work less hours as long as I make enough money which is $75k, or if I do work long hours, it’s because I want to.

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Am I mistaken by this viewpoint?
