Guys, I interviewed at amex gurgaon 10days ago and was told by VP that I will hear from HR very soon. But when I checked on HR yesterday, she said interviews are still in progress and it will take a week more to finalize.
I want to know do they take this long to close a position? This opening was posted on 30th Sep.. It's already been 1.5 months. This is when they said the position was urgent!! 🙄

But today I received a notification from USCIS that there is a change in status for the Receipt number (belons to Old employer) and status says "Correspondence Was Received And USCIS Is Reviewing It, On February 15, 2022, we received your correspondence for Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker. We are reviewing your correspondence, and will send you a notice.

Just got an offer for a Sr. AWS DevOps role at 145K, I will be working remotely 100% with maybe 5% travel, if any. No bonus with this company. I have over 8 years of DevOps and AWS, all AWS certs . Should I be asking for more $? Thoughts on the offer and how much more $ I should be asking for ? Current location is kinda irrelevant since I will be working remotely.

Is it a red flag to not use your current employer as a reference or would this not be noticed? I have other references I want to use who I think can better attest to my skills for the job but don’t want it to raise any questions.

is it worth it to shift to IB or MBB after 7 years in the big four(audit and fdd)? I do think IB and MBB are interesting fields that you can acquire unique skill sets and a good network. After BCA + MBA I was always looking for functional roles like Pre-sales, Busiess analyst, etc. But now I'm completely in sales with 3 yrs of experience.
Also I have seen that some people have switched from Sales into BA, Pre sales, Product management, etc.
