Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

What's your controversial Houston opinion?
My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Samsung 49 inch curved Ultrawide is the best thing on the planet.
Totally agree. It is magical.
Let’s see Paul Allen’s card.
My friend bought a 32” Dell curved monitor. It was stunning when I saw it in person. I’m envious. I feel like the curve would be ergonomically helpful at that size, but I’ve never had a curved monitor myself.
I have a Samsung QLED and been happy with its performance. Good color, solid screen quality
Curved.
Following - don’t have recommendations but want to buy this as well
Hey guys.. what is the benefit of the curved screen? Is it an ergo thing?
Well at that size, it’s strikingly large sitting in front of it, so if it were flat there would be a fair amount on neck strain to look from one corner to the other. So yeah, it’s an ergo thing.
I just got a 43in LG 4K tv. I almost did the uktrawide but opted against. Don’t regret my decision at all
you want curved. I have a flat one and sometimes it sucks seeing the opposite side of where I am sitting clearly.
As a PC gamer, highly recommend the Asus ROG monitors. Also would recommend of the LG monitors. As a warning though, even or should I say especially the higher end monitors start having minor issues 3-5 years down the line.
Pay attention to the resolution. Some 32+ wide surprisingly have it way too small
