Paris isn’t that far. Just save the money and splurge on sth else
True I made some dangerous assumptions.
It's not a viable value option for me...I'd rather spend the money in Paris. An extra thousand bucks sounds like good eating in a place that should have decent eats available. Enjoy!
Probably worth it
Idk if Canada air / Lufthansa does this but whenever I fly AA internationally and buy economy I’ll almost always get the option to upgrade my seat at a much lower cost than it would be to purchase the full price of the next class. The price fluctuates every day as my departure date nears.
I can confirm the big joke here is that Air Canada's motto is "We're not happy until you're not happy" ;) So I'm not sure if they offer that

How long is the flight for you? It’s an easy 7 hrs in economy. If anything, book the hotel from the night before so it’s ready for you when you land in the early am.
Depends how tall you are…. and if you’re coming from the East Coast. The only difference will be a little bit of legroom.
not worth it to me, the flight is not really that long. But if you've got the money/points/miles and wanna do it, go for it.
Id probably get the economy seat and pay for extra legroom seats
Personally I found it worthy. It’s not just extra leg room like many have stated, it’s extra width and space that allows you to move around freely and be comfortable on a long flight.
In addition, the food option and service are also better
