PwC 4 - while PwC may not ask for your folio, sometimes clients do. Let me know how it goes when you're on a nightmarish client that has their procurement team combing through each and every line of each and every receipt and folio and they find those drinks. "Charging for whatever you want within reason" is NOT our policy, and that is terrible advice.

I'm 100% against you trying to play the system. Don't do it; you will get burned, and you will hurt our firm's name.
That being said, you don't have to do anything shady to take friday off. If you have billed more than 40 hours that week, you can just leave the day blank and "flex" it. That's stated policy, not gaming the system.
Thanks d1 I’m not trying to be unethical, agreed there. However waiting for people to leave until 9 or 10 because I didn’t rent a car to save money is getting exhausting. While I figure out every single person on my team has a car now that they’re all staying st the same hotel. Also they each go get Starbucks and do that card truck daily. And they don’t book pto when they bail on Friday’s, they just prorate the week. So I’m lookin to just ease my shitty project

P5 - You lie on Well being Rewards? Really? Is it that hard to watch a benefits video, take a walk or a bike ride, talk to a partner about your career, or go to the fucking doctor? Jesus Christ.
OP, I suggest you go find the expense policy and read it. That way you will know what you can and cannot do, in case you are ever audited. Better to know the limits, and operate within them, than to not know them, accidentally operate outside of them and owe the firm money (or worst case, be terminated).

Yea. This is actual, stated policy. We used to call it "flex fridays" and it was only available between memorial and labor days. Two years ago they decided to just make it permanent.
You just have to make sure you clear 40 hours a week. Then you can take a day off and just leave the time slot empty on t&e. I do this semi-regularly.

PwC doesn’t pay for lunch when traveling? I’ve never heard of a firm restricting lunch. Even the US Government paid for lunch when traveling
Spend more of your energy on building your skills. That will pay off a lot more than optimizing perks here/there and potentially skirting the grey areas. With all that head-space you free up by not trying to squeeze every penny, put it towards your own career and competency development. I guarantee you that has a better NPV for your time and energy spent.
