I love the Vonlane!
If you are comfortable with the premium costs, Vonlane is fantastic
Vonlane is totally safe and pleasant if that’s your concern.
That being said, it’s still a bus charging $100 - don’t be fooled by the formal name. You can get $42 flights from Austin to Dallas.
What's your budget? I heard good things about Vonlane but it's pricey. Greyhound, Flix, and Megabus are cheaper but you might encounter more or less questionable people depending on the time of year. Less when school is in cause then you'll have more students taking them. Oh, and if your travel is in Sept, consider flying cause I saw some cheap flights with Southwest the other day for the month. You can get a round trip flight for like $80 something, which is probably about the same you gonna spend for the bus tickets and save you 2.5 hours time.
Vonlane, if not then Megabus or fly Southwest like someone else suggested. Don’t do Greyhound.
Vonlane all the way, they take all the express roads and you’ll get there faster on the bus then you would in your own car. You won’t regret it!
Vonlane is great and only $100. Absolutely love it
One way. And these days a little more!
Thanks all! I checked Vonlane and it’s looking pricey - $120 one-way. That’s why I was hoping for other options. Sounds like Megabus could work?
Red coach is better than mega bus I think
Renting a car and driving
Yeah, you can fly or drive easier
Vonlane is the nicest, if you can tolerate the high price
If you do the Megabus - I've felt totally safe as a woman assuming your ride is during the day & you can keep your backpack/valuables with you in your seat.
Can't do Megabus anymore. They shut down all Texas route
