I previously worked at a doctors office as a care manager for 4 years, but outside of my academic work I don’t have experience in research. I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.

I’ve worked with many different industry-sponsors and CROs throughout the years, but many jobs I am applying to require experience at a biotech/CRO/pharma company. Would really appreciate any advice or referrals. Thanks in advance!

Duties would have me responsible for a small team of research nurses as well as other managerial duties for the department. Has anyone taken the CCRP exam? Currently looking for test prep resources and there are very few. The exam book combo I found on Amazon has mixed reviews and I think the best way for me to prep is to see the questions and get comfortable with them.

What is the correct path to obtain entry level positions in clinical research. My background is in health sciences and work experience has been 3 years as a clinical lab scientist. I have not been getting a whole lot of interviews, but the Interviews that I have secured went well but still resulted in being ghosted by the employer. Thx any advise and help is appreciated!

I want to transition to a role in pharma or a CRO, but haven’t been successful yet because I don’t have industry experience.
