Honestly I think it's SF. It's not just the Rent, it's the expensive public trans, groceries, places to eat, gas, etc.
If you make below $117K in SF you're considered low income.
117 for a family of 4, not a single person.
It’s SF.
It's definitely SF, everything else adds up fast ( going to Tahoe for a weekend, dinner and wine, clothes, a regular cafe latte habit etc). If you want to save on an 80k a year job, you really need to have a budget and stick to it.
I am so jealous of your rent! Wow. My rent is $3100.
