Managers suddenly extra nice after giving written notice. Gave ~2 weeks notice after working in a gov call center that has been destroying my mental health. Asked to transfer off phones but they said no. Right before providing written notice I got the cold shoulder and manager resisted helping me with angry clients but after sending it they have been nicer and willing to help or be more flexible. Why is that? Do they not want me to leave suddenly or they’re just pretending while I’m still here?

Does where you get your masters degree matter? I’m in an online environmental science masters program at an expensive “name-brand” school, but have colleagues telling me I should transfer to a less expensive program to save $ because no one cares about where your degree is from. Aside from the cost of it, I like my program, and the fact that I’m now connected to an incredible alumni network. And not gonna lie, I like the clout. Thoughts?
