Interviewed at Deloitte, PwC and EY for Advisory Senior Consultant role. Deloitte offered $105K (plus $5K bonus), PWC offered $127K (plus $15K bonus) and EY offered $155K (plus $10K bonus). Surprised with the difference in pay between Deloitte & EY for same role. Is Deloitte Advisory paying less compared to other firms? 4.5YOE in Consulting.

Non NY- M1,MC, non-mba (have one but not recruited in through grad school), 140k, 5k bonus, rated tier 2. Salary didn't change with promotion from SA3, and bonus last year as a tier 3 was 5k.... So basically I got promoted with nothing. Nada. No difference. What's point of promotion?
I have to admit for non-pwc peeps, this thread is hugely entertaining.
PwC 1, explain? We were hired at 60-65k. Expected to go upto 75-80k this year
Im an ea who came in at 83. im not getting shit. i heard some associates who joined from college (because the recession wasnt as bad anymore) were promoted to senior making 99? u fucking kidding me right?
@PwC1 - 75k for which group/LoS?
Everyone in FS?
New hires in Advisory start out at a minimum of 70k, not sure what their sign on bonus is
i said im an EA not a campus hire... 3 years of consulting experience
Tier 1 - CIPS - SA3 F non-nyc - 118k, 10k bonus.
my practice did not have much work and alot of people were on the bench. those who were not on the bench got promoted.
CIPS, SA 1st Year MBA, Fired
MPH degrees are on the same scale as undergraduate degrees in HIA smh...
Are all MBAs included in the "MBA scale"? Reading that there are specific ones treated differently. Bogus that MPH holds no weight.
I'm seeing an awful lot of complaining on this thread about people accelerating quickly in their careers and outpacing ppl salary wise. There's a reason for that. There's no way having interned at the firm for 2 months years ago is now making someone a more favorable promotee than you. Ok? Maybe you're just not performing. My theory is that eventually with this model pwc will slowly start to adopt "up or out" policies getting rid of dead weight moving horizontally in the cohort model. Sounds like we have a lot of that blubber on this thread.
Where are you now. WHERR ARE YOU JOWW
pwc51 lets just say i got the salary point because of my exp. now with the cohort, someone else gets a 25 k bump and i get nothing. yea i fucked up by moving over to pwc.
@pwc32 ya because they outperformed you.
Amen 🙌🏻 PwC 10
