Hey DFW, TX folks. We're going through comp and merit raises, I suspect you all are too. This is the first year we're using pay ranges from payscale. I am completely surprised of how low compensation is in TX. For any of you that have visibility to pay ranges what is your experience with pay ranges for your company?

Recently, a SaaS client (1k employees) that hired my old consulting firm reached out to me about a job opening - Lead BA working primarily to implement their benefit admin system for insurance companies. The client and coworkers were all nice, but I remember being stressed on the project due to limited resources.

Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative.
