Meta AI is constantly behind.
Youre making bad business choices if you go with them

Interesting. What makes you think that? And what do you recommend for businesses instead?

OP posts once a week with a complaint about Meta. They don't work there anymore.

OP, we get it. Nobody disagrees with you. You can move on now.

How so? I've never used it and have just assumed it's a cut or ten below Chat GPT/Claude/etc. I am curious to know what makes it so much worse though.

At least they paid you a lot better than the cheap ass defense contractors do

But they pay their directors who literally just party around significantly more. It's fucked up how much people make who just politic and don't do any work. Then they have access to scary ass tools in the middle of world politics.

Elaborate please?

Everything Meta does is behind or lackluster. They’ve poured so much money in trying to develop this un impressive AI and stealing AI designers.

My thinking is that Meta is and will always be a social connection company at heart. To that end is how their AI will play. They can hire whomever they want, but deep AI developers are probably going to Google where tokenization started for search so that LLMs could happen or AI natives. And whatever AI Meta needs they can grab off the shelf since so many models are available now. And yes, engineers have probably replaced a layer of engineers because having AI write code is so easy that the layperson can do it without even writing code (it's called automation and building agents, no code or low code and there's tons of software -some free- for that, even a mode in your ChatGpt). AI is sooo expensive to build and maintain, if you're not a top enterprise or b2c player now, it's a smart play to hang it up and focus on internal AI optimization projects. The gov's not sponsoring their AI as they were their "whateverthisis" social media back in 2000's so there is no play money to f with. Cut bait and move on to expanding your bread and butter instead of trying to play in the pool with tech companies that fully understand enterprise LLM. (iow, You don't see Apple trying to launch an LLM. Bet they partner with ChatGpt or other to integrate with iOS for their devices. Even Amazon's Alexa+ isn't being marketed as LLM) Meta, You tried it. Great. Fail fast and forward ho!

Meta is a social manipulation company run by IDF agents

I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ.
