I booked a trip from NYC->Singapore with Krisflyer miles for next year. I need to change the reservation to be NYC->Bangkok but with a stop over in Singapore. Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I know I can essentially get any sales job I want in finance IE: financial advisor etc. but don’t want to be stuck in sales forever. Any advice?

Friend of mine is thinking about picking up a second full time job to help pay his parents mortgage who fell on hard times. Logistically he thinks he could swing it but he's worried about employment verification checks catching the overlap down the line. His plan is to continue working job A, work job B for 12-18 months, and eventually resign from job B and never add it to his resume. Thoughts?
