Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Hi Guys,
I have joined Ofss 1 week back and on second day itself I was allocated to project and onboarding WIP I received mail stating to report back to office 3 days per week under hybrid work model policy. Is this compulsory my base location is 2600 km from my current location as I am joining the citi project its seems difficult for me to grasp things though I have only 1 yr of prior exp by I think my team is expecting a lot so moving to new city and learning at same time is not possible .

Motivation (or lack thereof)
On a lighter note, the dread of having to wear pants once things open up 😂
I have lost weight during this nightmare. Getting more exercise than ever, despite still working a lot, due to not wasting time commuting or on BS in the office.
Zoom depositions
This- including trying to get ready for it, especially in document-intensive cases.
Feeling disconnected from my colleagues and feeling like I am losing an entire year of crucial business development as a young partner.
Don’t worry. You’re being too hard on yourself. It’s a great time to reassess your practice and how you’re going about things. And as far as business development is concerned, clients stay for the lawyer, not the firm in my experience. Have faith in your abilities and trust that your clients have faith in you. You wouldn’t make partner otherwise. All the best.
Feeling “busy” all day long without much to show for it at the end of the day or any good benchmark of how I am doing compared to others in similar situations (working from dining room table, 4 kids and spouse buzzing around). No way I am “killing it,” just hoping I am coming in above the mean. #covidgoals

Keeping focussed managing all the small tasks a secretary would on top of an unreasonable workload where everyone seems to think it's business as usual
Worrying about people judging about choosing not to be in the office.
I have actually been pretty much shamed for wanting to be in the office. Before, I worked from home a lot because I have a long commute and it was easier to just plow through. But with my spouse teaching from home and my kids doing virtual school, it is hard to get uninterrupted blocks of time. So I was trying to go in a day or two a week. But I’m really being discouraged from it even though I’ve been following precautions.
A colleagues and staff operating at 30-70% productivity. On a good day. That combined with clients being more demanding.
Obsession with video.
On the plus side, being home with the dog all day!! (The down side being her whining incessantly for all my food. But I still welcome to attention, ha.)
